You and a friend take control of Bub and Bob, two bubble blowin' dragons headed on a fantastic voyage to save their sweethearts, held captive by Baron von Blubba. There are over 100 rounds of challenge before the evil Baron is finally confronted.
Take care, your only weapons are your bubbles, but at least you have an endless supply. All you have to do is trap the beasties in your bubbles and pop them using your spiny back, sending these evil critters into oblivion! Be sure and watch where they land..you'll be treated to some very tasty fruit which adds various amounts of points to your score.
During each round, be sure to pay close attention to the different items that appear. A shoe, for instance, increases your overall speed. By eating candles you can increase your bubbleblowing capacity. Many other objects also appear, giving you the ability to shoot fireballs, or flood the screen with water. In turn, you are rewarded with some nice diamonds to enrich your score.
- Download Double Dragon 2. PC, Windows 10/Windows 8. Game Reviews. Double Dragon 2 - The Revenge is one of the most anticipated games of the new year. Adapted from the stylish arcade sequel to one of coin-op's all-time classics, the second story in the Billy and Jimmy Lee saga brings our heros together and side by side, for the first.
- Bubble Bobble is arcade game, published in 1989 by Taito Corporation. We gave this game stunning rating of 74.
ProTip: Sometimes the best strategy is to let the beasties come right at you.. but several beasties have special weapons and running away from them is your best defence.
Be sure and study all the bubbles on'the screen..on some rounds bubbles containing letters float randomly about. If you are lucky enough to pop the letters that spell EXTEND, you will exit the round and be treated to an extra Bub or Bob.
Each round presents a different pattern of openings and ledges to provide movement in your underground quest. Each round is more difficult and fascinating than the last. To add to the challenge, there are quite a few 'hidden' rounds for you to locate. These hidden rounds add to your fun and your score!
The real challenge of Bubble Bobble is to try to maximize your points. In order to get the most points for trapping and popping the enemies, try to pop as many of the creatures together as you can. Let them float together to a central point on the screen, then pop the group..point values can increase to as much as 64,000 for a popped beastie and 9,000 points for the leftover fruit.
Bubble Bobble is original, challenging, and fun, with great graphics and music.. there is no game quite like it.

Description of Double Dragon II: The Revenge
After Arcadia did a dismal PC conversion of Technos' arcade blockbuster Double Dragon, Technos USA wisely decided to choose a different company to do a PC conversion of the second game, Double Dragon II: The Revenge. The result is a much better and more faithful conversion that is fun to play, although still not the definitive version.
In this sequel, Billy and Jimmy Lee returning to exact revenge upon the killers of Billy's girlfriend, Marian. The game sports better graphics, more weapons, and much smoother animations than PC version of Double Dragon. Using the grenades is especially fun, although you have to be quick since it doesn’t flash before detonating ;) Inexplicably, you cannot jump or kick when holding a weapon . maybe an oversight on Binary Design’s part. The control scheme is much better than the first conversion, although it’s confusing because pressing the same key will execute different moves depending on the direction you are facing.
Overall, Double Dragon II is probably the best PC conversion of all three Double Dragon games. I’d still maintain that River City Ransom is ten times better than three games combined, though, but your mileage may vary ;)

MASTERSYSTEM4THEWIN dont act like ET caused the crash, a lack of QC and a flood of shit games caused the crash. You can just as easily blame the atari Pac man port or any other piece of shit game that came out for the 2600 before 83

Pink Floyd, you're totally wrong. The nintendo version of Double Dragon 1 was absolute crap.
The Sega Master System version was several magnitudes better and, like the arcade game, you could play BOTH players at the same time.
On the nintendo, you could only play as 1 player at a time which was made it a clown of a port.
With Double Dragon II and Double Dragon III, Nintendo got it right with both of those. But you pretending that double dragon 1 for the nes was anything but junk is tantamount to trolling.
The only game worse than DD1 is probably Bible Adventures or Action 52.
E.T. caused the video crash of 1983, and if not for Sega and System16 arcade systems, it might have caused a video game crash in 1988.
That said, the DOS version of Double Dragon II was decent. It played on my 6mhz 286 just fine and close enough to the arcade game play for it to be amazing back in the day.

This game looked really good on the PC. Not too far from the arcade. But slow and sluggish, full of bugs, and terrible controls very much like the Sega Genesis version. like the first Double Dragon Nintendo wins all for having the best version even though it is very different.
